Hi World!!

I am Walter, 40yo, I was born and raised in Italy but I have been living abroad since I was 25. Since then, I lived in Germany, Ireland, Portugal, United States, Thailand and now Bali, Indonesia. As you see, I love traveling... and like most Italians, I like good food & football :-)

Bali is a great place to stay both as a tourist and for a living. I have been living here for about 3 years. This year I have rented a beautiful villa in one of the hottest places on the island. My villa is located in Canggu, north of Kuta, 2 minutes drive to the world famous Echo Beach.

Echo Beach hosts some of the best surf in Bali and a wide variety of local and western restaurants (among also Deus. Canggu is a charming rural area immersed in beautiful rice fields, only 20 minutes drive far from Seminiyak, the glamorous shopping and entertainment area of Bali.

I also own a property in the Algarve, the southern province of Portugal, that I rent out during the summer season.

As for me, I am easy going, I like to get to know new people and I love the idea of having guests from all over the world. I am social, friendly and considerate. I like my home to be neat and clean at all times. Most of all, I respect people's privacy and I know that some people just want to relax their holiday in peace. If you are this type of guy, you don't have anything to worry about.

One of my lifelong passions is surfing and that's how I spend my spare time in Bali. If you are a surfer too (or fancy to learn how to surf) we can go for a paddle together!

My job is web development and do internet marketing consulting. But I wouldn't get into details.. that's boring, right? :-) My favorite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and some of my favorite movies are Fight Club, The Wolf of Wall Street, Django, Matrix, ... (this list can go on forever..).
