In the Umbrian hills lies the ancient village of Montegiove (Mount Jupiter) surrounded by a beautiful but wild nature, the village lies around "Castello di Montegiove", built in the early 13th century. If you are reaching the village you first see the castle is on top of the mountain. Just outside the village a bit below the Castle and between the vineyards and olive groves you find"Podere del Buongustaio" built in 1830 as a farmhouse, bought by Adje M. in 2011 and has been completely and tastefully restored, maintaining many original elements, such as the tile floors and oak beam ceilings. The interior is carefully designed with a very good feeling for style, colour and materials showing in many decorative elements such as beautiful paintings, foto’s sculptures and other art

Total tranquility, beautiful views in a well preserved area, in the woods around the house you will find many types of mushrooms such as porcini and black trumpet but also truffles and a lot of different herbs are growing in the wild. And that's not even all there are also wild boars, porcupines, deer and pheasants. From here one can walk for hours without crossing a road, immersed in the famous Umbrian green hills. No need to say that you can see far from here and what you see can keep you dreaming during your stay (and beyond). So this is the place to be when you are looking for an Umbrian nature holiday. It’s a 15 minutes drive to Fabro where you can find goods shops and supermarkets. Since we are local, we deal with our guests directly – from key exchanges, to cleaning, to repairs, and anything in between. All of our properties are fully furnished and have all the amenities of home!
