The construction of el El Born dates back to the medieval ages, and it has since then evolved into one of the most elegant, and liveliest districts of Barcelona. Wake up and get lost in the tiny maze streets. You will find the area is full of cafes, terraces, plazas, museums (Picasso, Born CC, Chocolate Musuem, etc), galleries and even its own market (Mercat Santa Caterina)!!
