I am a Canadian artist that has been living in Mexico for 30 years. My place is on a bluff that was a stone quarry, The view of the lake is quite spectacular. This a natural setting, an artistic space dedicated to blending in with natural world. We have an organic garden, and a fish pond stocked with Tilapia. The site is a labyrinth of unique spaces designed to be enjoyed by all ages.
The buildings have unique architectural features but are designed for you comfort. In an attempt to help planetary water issues, some of the rooms have dry toilets. All grey water is recycled. We are interested in creating a sustainable living culture.
Our habitats are 10 to 15 minutes from Valle de Bravo, which aside from its lake has many attractions and world class restaurants. Valle de Bravo is a forested lake region and the town has been designated as a Pueblo Magico.
As well as a wood worker, painting and writing are other activities I pursue. I practise Tai Chi and Vipassana meditation.
