Kappa Sands is an intimate beachfront boutique resort with only 24 individually owed residences. It is built on the site of a former Shinto Temple and the resorts architecture is in the Shinto Style. Kapaa Sands is the closest resort to the beach in all of Kauai. There is free 24/7 high speed wifi and free telephone calls to all of Hawaii, the mainland and Canada.

Kappa Sands # 24 is located 10 minutes away from Lihue Airport on a secluded cove in a beautifully landscaped tropical setting.. You do not have to put your shoes on to get to a shaded beach where you can swim, snorkel and bugy board. There is a baby beach formed from volcanic rock for children of all ages. The resort has a lovely pool and great barbeque facilities. There are two Hospitals with emergency medical centers located nearby.

Kappa Sands is a tropical paradise that is located close to everything you would want or need. The famous 10 mile Kauai ocean front bike path is steps from our front door. The Wailua river where you can kayak, paddle board and visit Fern Grotto is down the street. Bike rentals are available nearby. Hiking and mountain bike riding are just up the street. Shopping is close by in beautiful old town Kapaa which was just named by Forbes Magazine as one the 15 most beautiful cities in the United States. Kapaa was the only city in Hawaii to receive this honor.

We are located across the street from the Kinipopo shopping center where the locals eat. There are two bakeries, a great Mexican restaurant, a gourmet Japanese restaurant and a Korean barbeque located in the center. Also located in the center is a beauty shop, art gallery and a massage center. There is an excellent Pizza restaurant and gourmet healthy restaurant across the street and Foodland and Safeway are less then a mile away.
