We really love this place. It was our own holiday home for years, and we love the area so much we gave up our busy lives and moved to a smallholding a few miles up the valley. Now we are delighted to invite others to share the magic.
Situated on the Wales-England border and surrounded by sheep pasture, RC looks south to Beacon Hill and north across the river Teme into the Shropshire area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can just about see one other house if you look carefully but otherwise the view is hills, woods and fields. At night, with a clear sky, the stars are magnificent, with no light pollution to spoil the view.
Rose Cottage is a marvellous antidote to busy city life. Do nothing at all- kick off your shoes and light the fire- or enjoy the surroundings and the surprising variety of days out. After four years living here we still have a list of visits yet to be made.
