This home has been i my family for the past 7 generations. The Clark's were one of the founding families of Mount Dessert Island and this home dates back to 1814.

The Clark family was responsible for bring goods by boat to the Island and island materials to great cities like Boston, New York and Portland.

We have purchased and upgraded this house from my family in 2001 for visitors comfort and ease. Some of the home features are water view, walk to town center lobster pound across the street that will prepare your lobsters to go or stay.

Our Lawn and gardens are given care to create a natural environment of the plant life of Maine. Enjoy the large space inside or the natural landscape of the outdoors for family games, picnic or just relaxation.

Acadia national park is all around you with trails in walking distance or a short drive to many of the great places like the ladder trail on beach mountain, Acadia or Tea at Jordon Pond

Professional weekly cleaning service is done to make the house comfortable and preserve this historic home for your first stay and many more family reunions.
