We are only a 15 minute drive away from historic downtown Savannah, Georgia with its squares and fine dining, tours and monuments. Or, take the shuttle bus from Tybee Island to Savannah and visit movie locations of "Forrest Gump" and "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, dine at the world famous "Lady and Sons" and take our ever famous hearse ghost tour or haunted pub crawl.
Tybee Island stands at the mouth of the Savannah River and the lighthouse has cast its friendly beacon across the Georgia coastline since 1736. You've just got to see the beauty of its light from the North Beach after sunset.
