Philip and I have three 4-star gradedVvacation rentals apartments in Pilrig House. Previously, I worked as a copy editor & when not working, have my head buried in a book; Philip is an ex-naval engineer, who has an incredible knowledge of local history, which our guests enjoy.
We renovated each apartment over the years. We also live in Pilrig House, so personally welcome all guests & are on-hand throughout your stay to offer support, tips, recommendations & advice, when needed (we can also be totally invisible if desired!)
Since start-up our aim was, and remains, to provide spotlessly clean, comfortable and wonderfully-equipped apartments. It is so rewarding that our efforts are being realised, via the large number of return visitors, and numerous media reviews, accolades and awards we have attracted. In 2010 we were thrilled to win the coveted Scottish Thistle Award for 'The Extra Mile'.
