My husband and I are owner/caretakers of La Amapola. We have been offering holiday rentals at our cortijo in the Andalucian hills since January 2001. We manage the property ourselves, looking after the 3 acres of land and the house and pool, maintaining the gardens and even harvesting the almonds and olives ourselves. We and are on hand to welcome you to La Amapola, and to offer help and advice if required (the caretaker's cottage is on site, is completely self contained, has its own gardens and terraces and a separate and private entrance, driveway and parking place). We provide all the basic staples for your visit, as well as lots of extras to make sure you have a really special holiday. A welcome pack with wine and tapas and a selection of local maps and information leaflets are provided for your arrival. Local olive oil from our own olives, and specially bottled 'La Amapola' Rioja wine are also available upon request.
