Our house, lies on a hill 2.5 km to the north of Greve in Chianti.
The house is situated about 200 meters from the Chiantigiana, the scenic road SS. 222, leading through the Chianti region from Florence to Siena.
The apartment consists of a living/dining room with kitchen unit and fireplace, one bedroom with two beds, and a bathroom with shower.
In addition, the apartment has a small private garden with garden furniture and a large Italian and peaceful garden at guests' disposal .
The apartment is situeated in an historic building dating to the 14th century.
The building belonged during the Rinascimento to the family Gherardini, know to be the family of Monna Lisa.
A terrace overlooking pine trees is available for guests' use.
We are surrounded by private grounds, parkland, country fields, green meadows, woods and paths for walks.
We live at three km from Greve in Chianti, at about 25 kilometers from Firenze and Siena.
Central Tuscany is all within an hour drive away. Other places worth visiting include Pisa, San Gimignano, Arezzo.
We live a country life-style with animals (hens, pets, etc.) and quietness.
As we live in the vicinity, we are always at our guests' disposal to help to easily reach the house, for information, advice etc.

We agree with the previous glowing reviews. Although we had a car, we spent hours each day in the garden over a long breakfast or dinner. Since it is in the heart of the countryside, it was as good as going out. Our trips were just to see the sights and have long lunches - usually at a good restaurant in Montefioralle or any village we were in. But the food in the Greve CoOp is so excellent … See more
