In 2005, Denis purchased a casa in the historic district of Valladolid he wishes to share with you. He likes to talk, to listen, to meet new people and spend time getting to know them. He cooks as well.
Denis was born in the USA in the state of ND and raised in MT. He has since lived in IL, NY, NJ, NH, PA, Madrid, Lausanne & Isla Mujeres. Educated at the U of I (Champaign-Urbana), SVA (NYC), Parsons School of Design/New School (NYC) and Healing Hands Institute for Massage Therapy (NJ). Denis has a background of Industrial Design and New Consumer Product Development. He has lectured at Parsons (NY), Ramapo U.(NJ) & Halifax College of Art and Design (NS) and taught Elderhostel courses on Japanese art. He has volunteered w/the Mayan Research Program in Belize and Yucatán. Denis is also a nationally certified (USA) and licensed massage therapist. Denis has provided massage in USA, Mexico, Greece (at the 2004 Paralympics), Ecuador and Peru. Denis is attempting to learn some Yucatec Mayan.

We booked one night on our way back from Chichen Itza to the Cancun airport. The room was very comfortable; Dennis was a very accomodating and informative host; and we plan to return next winter. Valladolid is an interesting town, and the proximity to Mayan sites is good.
