Island Vacation Properties, LLC was founded in July, 2000 by Ann Caron, a real estate broker with fourteen years of property management experience on Anna Maria Island. It was Ann's firm belief that by providing unique services otherwise unavailable to property owners and guests, Island Vacation Properties would fill a void desperately needed in the marketplace. By focusing on ethical behavior and quality service, she knew that a competitive advantage was attainable. She also believed that the opportunity existed to cultivate trust and integrity into the realt estate and property management field on Anna Maria Island.

Ed Kirn, an enthusiastic and energetic Island colleague, joined Ann in officially opening the office on July 14, 2000. Ed operated a successful business on the island for over ten years and was well thought of by everyone he dealt with.

Starting with less than forty rentals in mid 2000, we have today numbered 275 properties, making us one of the top rental offices on Anna Maria Island. Property managers include Sara Kelly, Susan Hollub, Ed Kirn and Ann Caron.

At the same time, our staff was expanding on the other side of the business: real estate sales. Today, Mel Neely, Barbara Neely, Ted Schlegel and Barry Gould and Michael Northfield provide friendly, knowledgable and professional sales advice. Their success and been stellar and their committment to assuring the best possible service has made them one of the top selling sales teams on Anna Maria Island.

The company is also actively involved in condominium management under Barry Gould's Community Association Manager's leadership and Michael Northfield's expertise.

Island Vacation Properties' professional services are further enhanced by our support staff: Kelly Richards-Helm (Bookkeeper), Bob Chandonia (Guest/Owner Services Coordinator) and Kellee Krestan (Resort manager) and Jenifer Pender (Administrative assistant).
