Koali Ranch Cottage

Koali Ranch Cottage (south of Hana) sits immediately above 80 acres of unblemished pasture with a clear view to miles of coast. It is about 4 miles from the Haleakala National Park at Kipahulu. While small (620 square feet under the roof) the view makes it huge. It’s furnished with a queen sized bed, big shower, full kitchen, stove/oven, microwve, all the plates, stainless, glasses and cookware, phone, TV and cd/radio.

This is a place to relax. The tensions ease as you drive leisurely through Hana Town, then as you spot the chaise on the cottage lanai, Hana Paralysis set in.

For the more adventurous, there are hikes, beaches, cliffs, surfing and more. If all your hiking, swimming and snorkeling tighten you, a rejuvenating massage is only minutes away by phone.

Some guests walk a tenth of a mile to a cool mountain pool fed by a burbling waterfall.

You get serious swimming at Hamoa and Koki Beaches, Waioka Pond, the National Park at Kipahulu.
