I am resident of Dauphin isalnd but have most recently been a resident of Atlanta and have traveled and worked all over USA, Canada, Mexico, South America, Caribbean and Europe. With all these travels I prefer to call Dauphin Island home while still visiting Atlanta.
If you want to step back in time this is the place. No stoplights, no chain restaurants, a diverse mix of socio-economic cultures including resident shrimpers and PHD ocean biologists.
If you want a laid back vacation on a rare barrier island with public, private and Audubon protected beaches we are the place.
Bring the pets, all my homes are pet friendly and all the beaches welcome pets on leash 24/7.
