I have spent most of my adult working life in West Vancouver (a suburb of Vancouver, BC's largest city) and enjoy the 'West Coast lifestyle' immensely. We have owned boats, large ones and small ones, for many years and have taken many cruises through the Gulf and San Juan Islands. This area represents some of the best pleasure boating on the Continent. It was because of these adventures that we found and fell in love with the Saanich Peninsula. Although we still keep a Townhome in West Vancouver, we find ourselves drawn more and more to our Island property
