Colin, born 1931 Trinidad, West Indies lived in London UK 1956-66, then in Montreal for 25 years. Returned to Trinidad in 1991, chose retirement in Tobago, accidentally tourists began staying at my place. Name Blue Mango chosen while painting a cottage blue under a mango tree. The name clicked and so did my unique and quirky style of building cottages. Have had quite a few reports in international newspapers in periodicals.
I and my partner Rebecca are very laid back, not asking for payment for things like using our computer or washing machine or a local phone call. Our aim is to let guests have a memorable and friendly stay with us. We have a very friendly 6 year old daughter who joins in with the guests especially if they have young children. She'll happily accompany you to the beach. We also have restaurant run by Rebecca serving great local dishes, where guests are even welcome to join in if they wish.
The main thing is to feel free to be oneself or part of the establishment
