We adore Italy and we instantly fell in love with the genuine charm of Le Marche. However, we were always disappointed with the houses we rented in central Italy, feeling them to be overpriced and not quite up to scratch. So in 2008 we bravely decided to take the plunge and restore our own property. After months of house hunting we fell in love with Casa Lucciola, not just for the house and how beautiful we could make it look but also for its ease of access and close proximity to the lovely town of Mogliano. We are really proud of what we achieved and haven't cut any corners. All the renovations have been done by ourself and local craftsmen and I mean craftsmen. We spend a lot of time out there ourselves, so why do things on the cheap. Its become a popular place to hang out with friends and family together with all our kids. We've all got our favourite things to do whether its shopping at market day, seafood on the beach, canoeing at the lake or simply going for ice cream.
