Steve Jacobus made a life-changing decision with his family when they opted to move (boys,Will, 7, Michael 8; and Ryan, 10) in September, 2005 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA to Nosara, Costa Rica. The goals for the move was to have an intensive family adventure experience while the boys were still young, to learn Spanish. Tierra Magnifica was created to share with their family and friends the beauty and hospitality of this warm and friendly beach town. Today Tierra Magnifica is a world-class private vacation destination styled in casual elegance with the same warm and friendly hospitality one experienced when they visit the Jacobus family.
