I first came to the Keys as a name painting artist on Duval St. in 1995. In 1999, I bought this property. It had the perfect combination of ocean view, large garden space and fence for keeping our wandering toddler from falling in the ocean.
In 2003, I started renting out the property so I could work on the mainland. I was developing a product related to name painting, called RainbowBrush markers. After a few years, I gave distribution rights to another company. I moved back to South Florida in 2009 to be closer to the property, but still work overseas in manufacturing.
My family has fond memories of the place and try to keep it kid-friendly. We have great neighbors and friendly staff.
