When I lived in New Jersey, I learned how to ski in the mountains of Vermont and New York before coming out west to Colorado. I graduated from the US Air Force Academy and skied as often as I could and often joked that I minored in skiing. Breckenridge was always my favorite mountain and the dry fluffy powder snow conditions kept me coming back. After graduating I bought a condo and kept my ties to Breckenridge while I flew KC-135’s in the Air Force. For me the Breckenridge town experience kept me coming back year after year. It’s been 20 years since I first visited Breckenridge. Where else can you get an authentic Victorian town, great people, incredible night life, and fantastic skiing all in one place. My wife and I enjoy skiing and cannot wait to teach our 3 year old girl the finer points of skiing. I used to moonlight as a ski instructor.
