Kintyre in Argyll is one of the most beautiful, but relatively undiscovered, peninsulas on the West coast of Scotland. I was born and brought up in Argyll therefore feel well placed to assit guests in identifying all the activities,places of interest or services which each individual group will be looking for to make their visit special and memorable. Ian and I also sailed in the West Coast for many years but have now turned our attentions to upgrading and restoring this beautiful victorian house. We are happy to recommend places to visit, local restaurants and outdoor activities and can also advise on catering services or where to source the freshest seafood, locally farmed meat and venison for self-caterers. Balinakill is an ideal base from which to explore this special corner of Scotland, as well as the Islands of Gigha, Jura, Islay and Arran, and we are sure that those who visit will want to return again and again.
