We are a family with 2 small children, and decided a few years ago to buy a holiday home in Connemara near to safe sandy beaches. We holidayed there as children and wanted ours to have the same wonderful memories. We holiday in Carna for a few weeks each year and make it available for rent when we are not there. We love our holiday home and have it furnished and equipped to a very high standard. I get a great thrill from reading the comments left in our Visitors book . At our house 'Red Sails' we have a map showing you how to find the best (but difficult to find) beaches. We love Carna for its authentic village feel, and its close proximity to some of the nicest beaches in Galway.
