Casa Quintino is not a normal tourist villa, but a unique home, lovingly restored to combine the timeless elegance of the Tuscany landscape with the compelling strength of Africa. The personal paintings, books, piano, and ethnic taste as well as the simplicity of the rough style of finish appeal most to those who are seeking a genuine getaway from urban sophistication. The oak forests are alive with the call of the nightingale, cuckoos and African hoopoes while deer, foxes, porcupines and wild boar nightly visit the water hole below Casa Quintino.
Guests have an option to rent the whole house, or one of the two apartments: Le Stalle on the ground floor or Il Refugio on the 1st floor, both with the same spectacular view into the hidden valley below. We also provide a course at Quintino to enable guests not only to navigate an Italian menu but cook a full Italian meal. Visitors enjoy their meal by candle light on the patio, as the moon rises over the Tuscan hills.
