After a long search we fell totally in love with the andalusian way of life and in particular this area of outstanding beauty. So we bought 2 ruins, one was the former oldest bakery for the area and the other one was a melon farm. It took us 2 years of hard work to restore both houses to their former glory. It also gave us the opportunity to get to know the people of the nearest villages and to admire their sense of "laisser faire" or no haste attitude. We asked the local craftsmen for advise with the restoration and in so doing have learned a lot and at the same time made a lot of new friends from various nationalities who all seem to like the tranquility of the place. We love the close proximity of the sea and to be able to ski in the same day! We have traveled all our working life and are happy to put our roots down in such a stunning place.
