Ragnar Kristinn Kristjansson

My name is Ragnar Kristinn Kristjansson. For more than 25 years my life mostly evolved around mushrooms. I was a young man when I started the first mushroom-farm in Iceland, in Fludir, approx. 100 km from Reykjavík, close to Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir.

A few years ago I sold the mushroom-farm and since me and my family have mostly lived in Reykjavík, although I still own a house in Fludir.

I own the two top floors on Bergastaðastraeti 52. I live in one of them and I rent out the penthouse-apartment to tourists. It’s a benefit for the tennants to have me so close because I can assist them, whether it’s regarding the penthouse or to give them tips on Reykjavik and Iceland. I want my tennants to enjoy their stay in Iceland.
