We fell in love with Gili Trawangan in 2004 when we went for a short diving holiday. At the time my sons were very small and my husband and I were looking for a place not so far from our home in Singapore where they could run around all day in a large garden, or on the beach. We also chose the place because of its stunning beauty, the lovely warm-hearted nature of the Indonesian locals and the abundance of sea life.
