Kill Kare, our cottage on the Down East coast of Maine, has been in our family since it was built in 1917. Several generations have enjoyed this venerable house and now we have opened it for others to appreciate the kind of haven we have found there. Kill Kare is the ideal place to do as much or as little as you would like. An extensive online Renter's Guide provides information about the house and what to do and see in the surrounding area. We cater lobster dinners so you don't even have to leave the comfort and beauty of the porch to enjoy Maine's finest seafood. Getting to know our renters is important to us. The personal touch includes an invitation to our garage apartment just up the road for late afternoon refreshments - or, if you prefer, we'll visit you on the porch at Kill Kare and supply the crab dip. Getting away from it all with family and friends is truly what summer is about. Come join us for a week - or two - and recharge your batteries. We hope to welcome you soon!

Fell in love last summer with Kill Kare Kamp and cannot wait to go back in July of 2012. Cathy Larson is incredibly gracious and obviously takes great pride in the house and it's history. She also makes an incredible Lobster Dinner!
