We live in Atlanta GA and have been coming up to Highlands since 1999. It didn't take long for us to fall in love with this magical mountain community and we are sure you will too. We have two charming rental properties in Highlands; Stone’s Throw Log Cabin and Lakeview Cottage. Both places are decorated to reflect the spirit of the mountains and are extremely well-maintained and impeccably clean. Come stay with us and enjoy the beauty of Highlands. Make sure to sign the guest book so you can read about your last stay the next time you come to visit.

We stayed in the this quaint mountain cabin over a long weekend to attend a wedding in Highlands, NC/ The cabin is very close to town, but yet you feel miles away from the hectic city life! It was peaceful and beautiful with freshly fallen snow for our visit. The cabin is furnished just perfectly and we absolutely loved our stay there!

The cottage is semi-rustic and very comfortable. This is our third year to spend a four or five-day get-away at Stone's Throw. We love it.
There are great hikes to waterfalls, mountain trails, or just around the town of Highlands.
