I moved from Australia to France and bought this house in 2009. I had spent ages looking for a place with a garden but they are hard to find around this area and when I saw this one I fell in love! It was a big move coming from a large city to a tiny village but it was a very positive one! It's a great village, much more lively than some and I have great neighbours.
I live in the village (I moved to a different house in the same village) with my dog, Oscar, and go for long walks every day, either around here or in the National Park or to a lake or river nearby.
I worked from home a lot while at the cottage - and I move back there in Summers so there's a good internet connection and desk. This would be a nice break for someone who needs to work on a project or do some writing. As it was my home it's set up for comfortable living.

This is a very homely cottage perfect for a romantic break. The jacuzzi can be used as a gently heated plunge pool, perfect for sitting in with a book and a glass of rosé. (the photo shown is of the blue pool, this will be replaced with a much smarter looking jacuzzi but there are renters there constantly till the end…

The whole experience was one of total relaxation.
The property is clean, airy and bright and very well laid out, the weather was glorious and much time was spent in the garden with the scent of roses in bloom and lavender, and a surprisingly quiet neighbourhood.
I would definitely return here again!
