City-Bush Retreat is a fully furnished, fully equipped self-catering, modern, quality apartment. Totally private, secure with heaps of sun and light with wrap-around decks for fine indoor/outdoor living.

Our greatest pleasure as owners (we live in the completely separate downstairs apartment when we are in NZ) is when guests say "City-Bush Retreat has given us a new lease of life!"

Located on the urban fringe of New Zealand's major city, Auckland, in magnificent natural environment in a unique rain-forest location on the edge of the Waitakere Heritage Area of native bush stretching to the huge West Coast beaches to the West and Auckland's CBD to the North.

There's a Heritage-Listed 700 year old Kauri tree on the property, a stream with waterfall, bird-life, glow-worms and walks. The site is very sunny with views into the bush & down a beautiful small bush-clad valley.

Guests love the privacy, quietness, easy access to Auckland and local attractions. Many return year after year.
