Robert Winquist

Robert Winquist has a lifelong affinity with the Baja. For those who know him as a university professor, entrepreneur and family man, it came as no surprise that he finally settled on the most beautiful spot he could find in Baja California.

“I’m a restless guy,” says Robert. “I needed a place that was exhilarating and relaxing at the same time. It is so much easier to garden when the surf is booming and you know you can go swimming at any moment. What I’m trying to do here is create a living environment that keeps people in touch with the vastness of it all.

Almost every room has panoramic views of the mountains and the ocean. We have a trampoline that kids love to bounce on while watching the waves and whales. Bonfires under the stars are a regular feature at night. These are the things a family vacation is really all about. We are pleased to have opened our home to the wonderful people who come to relax and renew in this magical place.
