Carolyn Saunders

I'm a screenwriter for film and television living in Toronto, with as many forays to the south of France as I can manage. I love my French home, and often go there when I have a long project to write. The rooftop terrace is such a quiet, beautiful and inspiring place to work. I like to mountain bike, cross country ski, cycle and play tennis and I do all those things in France and in Canada. I also like to swim - in Toronto I am in Lake Ontario every day, right up till the end of October - I pride myself on being the last person in the lake every year. Only my old dog Endzone swims later than I do. In France I have the river Herault walking distance from my house, and it's beautiful to swim in, but also the Mediterranean, of course. I love the thought of other people getting as much enjoyment out of my house and my heavenly piece of the world as I do. Magical places are meant to be shared.
