Bruce Carter has been involved in the hospitality field most of his life. After graduating from Boston University back in 1986 he got his start working as a night auditor in a small hotel just outside of Boston. Bruce became fascinated with this industry and wanted to know everything about it. He found ways to improve the overall experience for the guests and in doing so was promoted often. He learned all aspects of each department and through the years he became the General Manager of some well-known hotels. .

During Bruce's corporate career as a General Manager of a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa he had an opportunity to manage a small beach vacation rental along the shores of the Gulf. Simply put…He was hooked. This became his new passion and career.

The success at Carter Vacation Rentals is from having an experienced team along with a variety of vacation property options that suits each guest's needs and budget. Bruce has also chosen to keep the business relatively small in order to maintain a personal connection with each new arrival.
