We are former owners of a hotel in Yorkshire who sold to a big chain. Since then we have rented 4* apartments in YORK but we have tried to give you all the advantages of staying in a hotel (e.g. Beds made with crisp cotton hotel standard linen) whilst a apartment gives you the freedom to set your own pace without having to be up for when the hotel says you should be for breakfast or need to vacate the room during the day for housekeeping staff.
It seems to be working, we have been awarded a GOLD AWARD by our letting agency, they base it on customer service feedback to them. Only those properties who score excellent get the award. Out of about 140 properties they let in the York area only 10 have the gold award.
