My name is Tony and I am the owner/operator of ScubaTony Cozumel. I used to be a police officer in Los Angeles, California and one day I learned to scuba dive. It took me about a month to decide that there was more to life than being a cop in L.A. Five months later I quit my 11 year career with the LA county sheriff's deptartment and went on walkabout. After my travels, I landed on Cozumel with one bag of dive gear and little else. I didn't know much about the island nor did I have any friends here but it took me less than a week to fall in love with this island and its people. It is absolutely beautiful here and the diving is some of the best in the world. It is the ideal place to learn to dive and to keep coming back once you get hooked like me.

This is our second time here and it just gets better! The location is perfect. There is a sweet bread shop and empanadas one minute away and it's a very short walk to the town square. It also has a full size kitchen. They are very accommodating giving you a cell phone to use here and the house phone has free calls to the us.
