We bought this home for my family. We fixed it up and were raising Alpaca's on the landfor years.A few years later we bought a classic 1953 old plantation home in downtown Makawao. We converted the home into a place where our family and freinds could stay. We enjoy staying there on weekends when noone is making use of it.When up there, It's so beautiful I have a hard time returning to our in-town home Monday morningafter a relaxing weekend.

We absolutely loved our stay! Waking up in the morning to the sounds of nature instead of the hustle and bustle of city life was sooo nice! Someone had written in a review that the road getting there was not to their liking. Well, yes, the road is narrow and winding but that is part of what makes this place so great.
