A warm welcome awaits you at Askrigg Cottage, a cosy , private, home away from home. Beautifully situated in a quiet Victorian era street in the heart of Moonee Ponds. It's the little things that will make your stay a happy one ; chocolates and fresh fruit on arrival,a basket packed with breakfast goodies and the latest magazines. Askrigg Cottage is just a few minutes walk from the train station and a short train ride (15 min) to the centre of Melbourne. Take a walk to the tranquil Maribyrnong River or just sit back on the cottage's sunny verandah and relax. Walking distance to the races at Moonee Valley ,or a short tram trip to Flemington race course for the Melbourne Cup.
