My wife and I first visited Zihua in 1995 and fell madly in love with the place. A few years later, along with friends from California, we made an offer on a lot down the street from where we always stayed and designed and built Casa Amarilla. It's an absolutely wonderful place to escape from our long Alaskan winters.
