We enjoy having folks come look @ all the stuff in the house. Especially enjoy helping 1st time visitors enjoy our city to its fullest. Sharing travel stories over a meal is something we've done all our lives. As B&B we meet MORE interesting folks, AND we get paid for what we love doing!! Who could ask for more?
Until late 70s, we lived in Georgia. While our children were young, we hosted exchange students from many countries.
In the 70s, we were Ambassadors on the inaugural trip of former President Jimmy Carter's Friendship Force. Also members of Servas, another intrenational cultural exchange program.
In mid 90s, we turned our home into a B&B, initially specialized in hosting international travelers + medical/academic community. Now, guests from ALL walks of life + points of compass

This B&B; is on the edge of the French Quarter. Close enough to walk to most areas of the French Quarter, but removed from the center of activity, to give you some peace and quiet if you choose. Very safe and secure. Parked our car in their gated lot when we arrived and did not get in it again until we left after 3 days stay.
