Fell in love with St. John the very 1st time I stepped on the old wooden dock in Cruz Bay more than 20 years ago. Since 2/3 of St. John is National Park it's become a special place indeed in the midst of a sadly overdeveloped Caribbean. I 1st bought property in St. John 10 years ago--named it Perelandra & rented it out to rave reviews until 2/1/11 when it sold. Had to do so for a variety of reasons but I was heartbroken. Then I came across this hidden gem of a long-neglected condo--which I had rented myself several times 2 decades ago but whose owner hadn't kept it up. I knew it was one of the best locations on the island with great views (2 thankfully unchangeable things), bought it in April 2011 & demolished everything inside that could be changed (down to the wall studs!) The result: a brand new interior with a spacious layout, furnished & stocked with all new everything to amply meet all guest needs. Called it Bliss because that's what I feel when there (peaceful joy).
