Would be Artist, turned historian, turned city investment broker…moved to France, became a pilot bought a Spitfire. There’s quite a lot of story between those CV headings but Jaye and I love our 16th century Manoir and meeting guests from all over the world. Our fully restored Manor is the base for our D Day Tours and they take up most of our time (with breaks for flying) and of course 500 year old buildings always want something doing. Our guests often say being here feels very much like being at ‘home’ and throw in an afternoon of ancient muzzle loading rifle shooting, some archery and its set to be a stay with a rather a difference!
