It's now 30 years ago when i was comming from Gernany to Italy to experiance the italien way of live. After Florenz and Verona, I could find a work in Ventimiglia. My first view at this landscape was out of the trainwindow with was bringing me from Genova next to the border of the near France. The intensive blu of the water and the reflection of the sun on it was something ,new for me comming from a part of Germany wher the colors braun and green are mostly seen, The ligurian Prealps who are taking a bath in the mediteran see complete the picture. Friends I have known at a scool for painting found a flat for me, so I was comming to Dolceacqua. As I was 41 years I became my son who is 18 jears and still going to scool.
We both live also in the house I started to restore in 2004, so we will have the possibility to talk with you and give you some advise where to go and what to see. The area is worth to be explored with the car or bus but even more by hiking.
We are looking verry much forward to your visit.
