Sue & Richard Gillard

Sue and Richard would be delighted to welcome you to Kereru Cottage. We both have many varying interests and are enjoying our semi-retirement.
Richard is a singer/songwriter who enjoys an eclectic mix of music and spends a lot of his spare time creating new material in his music studio onsite. He is also very involved in the local Anglican community in various roles. Richard keeps fit enjoying many long walks with our very old dog, Jazz.
Sue loves gardening and has become captivated by the budgies she breeds and houses in their large aviary in the garden. She regularly plays nine holes at the local Sherwood Park golf club, enjoys singing in the Whangarei Choral Society and Opera North troupe and is an active member of the Whangarei Patchwork Guild. Sue also runs a successful small craft business making soft toys, children’s hats and baby shoes.
These activities keep us very busy, but we will be on hand to assist you with your stay in any way we can and look forward to meeting you.
