We built Villa Hikaru in 1973, and have embellished it ever since 1973, a process described in my memoir, Near A Far Sea, a Jamaican Odyssey, available at Amazon, Barnes, Borders and local booksellers. The book also offers a glimpse of the fishermen who remain the most important part of our village, and who welcome visitors.
