My two sisters and I inherited our farm from our parents. The eldest, I was born in the house and started doing farm work at age five. We quit dairy farming in 1956 when our mom became a teacher. After graduating from Harvard college, I went into show business, like our mother before me, for seven years. I then married and became an editor, culminating in a long career with Reader's Digest. I have two daughters and two grandchildren and live in suburban Katonah, NY. My two sisters and I share responsibilities in maintenance of our childhood home and our rental business.
