Brett grew up in South Africa, Jason in the UK, and we both moved to Canada in the 90's - eventually making it across to Salt Spring in 2005. Waking up each morning on this beautiful island feels like an everlasting vacation. We are blessed to have found a sunny property, graced by many of the local deer, and have created tranquil gardens that are designed to offer a retreat from the busy world for us as well as for our guests.
We chose this location due to its proximity to the ocean (less than 300 metres) and local rainforest. While we're only ten minutes away from the shops and restaurants of Ganges (the island's only town), we were attracted by the quiet road (we're nearly at the end of it) and low volume of traffic - good for our peace of mind and the cats' well-being!

My girlfriend and I stayed here in May and loved it so much we came back again in June. Brett and Jason are fantastic hosts and an absolute delight but also make a point of giving you your privacy. The 3 cats are adorable and friendly and everything about our stay was memorable in all the right ways.
