Villa il Castellaccio with its Private Villa, 4 apartments, gardens and swimming pools, lies in a panoramic position surrounded by peaceful vineyards and olive groves at Lucolena, near Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti countryside.

Strategically placed for Florence (only a 20 minute train journey from the station at nearby Figline), Siena, San Gimignano and Arezzo , makes it ideal for a holiday combining sight seeing and relaxation.

The complex has a Villa for 10-12 people, with a private garden & pool and 4 large apartments for 4-6 people, sharing another big swimming pool, more gardens and a barbecue area complete with a wood burning oven for Pizzas.

The whole of the Chianti Area is at your feet – have fun visiting the lovely medieval towns like Greve in Chianti, Castellina, Gaiole, Radda and San Gimignano and along the way, discover many typical restaurants, Castles, Wine Cellars & Nature Reserves and for fashion lovers, there are The Mall and Prada Fashion Outlets only 20 minutes away by car.

Here at Villa il Castellaccio we can organise wine tasting, Dinners and Cooking classes and Day trips by chauffeur driven cars to places further afield like Rome,Venice, Chianti wine tour, to name but a few....but we can take you wherever you wish!! Nearby you can go horse riding and play tennis and Golf.............However after an exciting day out it’s wonderful to get back “home” to the fresh country air and a dip in the pool!
