I am 56 years old, from England. I have lived here on Faial since 2001, when my husband and I bought an old farmhouse and restored it to run a bed and breakfast business, which ran well for the next 7 years. In 2009 we decided to concentrate on the self catering houses. We look after all the houses as if they were our own and give a warm welcome to all our visitors.

Of all the properties we staid in, the Casa da Praia was number 1 for all members of our travel party - so we're back already in spring 2013!
