About the Rothermels - We moved from the US to Costa Rica in 2008 after falling in love
with Costa Rica in 2005. Our boys attend La Paz School - (website: hidden) a non profit
community based bilingual school. Freda is the Regional Director for Conde Nast Johansens for
Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. She also serves on the Pro Mejoras de Playa Grande ( small
city council) and the ASADA de Playa Grande ( local water board). We are active in the community
supporting recycling, education and blue flag practices.
